The main working parts of the slurry pump are the pump body, impeller and volute. The impeller device in the pump body is located on the shaft and connected with the motor to form a whole. When the motor spins the impeller, the blades in the impeller force the fluid to rotate, which forces the fluid to increase its potential energy and kinetic energy. At the same time, the fluid under the action of inertia force, flow from the center to the edge of the impeller, and at a high speed out of the impeller, through the discharge pipeline to achieve the purpose of conveying.
The material of slurry pump accessories is roughly metal and rubber.
Slurry pump commonly used metal materials are divided into cast iron, ductile iron, high chromium alloy, stainless steel and so on.
Rubber material is divided into: natural rubber, synthetic rubber, butyl rubber and so on.
The carbon content of industrial cast iron is 2%~4%. Carbon exists in the form of graphite and sometimes in the form of cementite. In addition to carbon, cast iron also contains 1%~3% silicon, as well as manganese, phosphorus, sulfur and other elements. Alloy cast iron also contains nickel, chromium, molybdenum, aluminum, copper, boron, vanadium and other elements. Carbon and silicon are the main elements that affect the microstructure and properties of cast iron.
Cast iron can be divided into:
① The carbon content of gray cast iron is high (2.7%~4.0%). The carbon mainly exists in the form of flake graphite, and the fracture is gray, which is referred to as gray iron.
(2) The content of carbon and silicon in white cast iron is low, the carbon mainly exists in the form of cementite, and the fracture is silver-white
③ Malleable iron is obtained from white cast iron after annealing treatment, and the graphite is flocculent distribution, which is referred to as ductile iron
④ Nodular cast iron gray iron molten iron is obtained after spheroidization treatment, the precipitated graphite is spherical, referred to as nodular iron
⑤ Vermicular graphite cast iron gray cast iron molten iron was obtained after creep treatment, and the graphite precipitated out was vermicular
⑥ Alloy cast iron. Ordinary cast iron is obtained by adding appropriate alloying elements (such as silicon, manganese, phosphorus, nickel, chromium, molybdenum, copper, aluminum, boron, vanadium, tin, etc.). Alloying elements make the matrix structure of cast iron change, so that it has the corresponding heat resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, low temperature resistance or no magnetic properties. Now slurry pump commonly used is high chromium alloy cast iron. Rubber is divided into natural rubber and synthetic rubber.
Universal rubber: refers to the rubber used in part or in whole instead of natural rubber, such as styrene butadiene rubber, butadiene rubber, isoamyl rubber, etc.
Styrene butadiene rubber: is made of butadiene and styrene copolymerization, is the largest production of general synthetic rubber;
Butadiene rubber: butadiene by solution polymerization, butadiene rubber has excellent cold resistance, wear resistance and elasticity, but also has good aging resistance;
Chloroprene rubber: chloroprene as the main raw material, through homopolymerization or a small amount of other monomers copolymerization. Such as high tensile strength, heat resistance, light resistance, excellent aging resistance;
Slurry pump accessories: impeller, pump body, pump cover, rear guard plate, shaft sleeve, positioning sleeve, water seal ring, packing gland, packing box, bracket, auxiliary impeller, decompression cover, labyrinth ring.
Rubber slurry pump accessories material: impeller glue, natural glue, front sheathing glue, natural glue, after sheathing glue, natural glue, pressure cover glue, natural glue, high chromium alloy material slurry pump has high strength wear resistance, compressive strength, good hardenability, good stability, good tempering softening resistance.
Rubber lined slurry pump is mainly made of natural rubber material, its acid resistance is very strong, very suitable for conveying slurry containing fine powdered impurities.
